Resolved

Using ValidationSummary

description

Situation: you want to display a validation summary message (suppressing the property errors) for a given group.

The validation message only seems to display IF you enable the property errors. If you disable property errors, the validation summary never diplays.

Code:
@Html.ValidationSummary("GROUP_NAMESl", false, "CUSTOM MESSAGE HERE")

The behaviour is inherited from the standard Validation Summary control for 0.3.0.0 (in svn now) there's a fix for the validation group implementation. I've also enabled support for the group name to be a blank string so that the validation summaries behave in the same way as the standard summary, apart from it will be visibile if exclude property messages is true.
